How Rocky Ray, 50, is now 10 years younger!

Raymond Lodovico, 50, had so many reasons for transforming. In the past, he was athletic…but started gaining weight around the age of 26. Four years ago, he went to play basketball and realized he couldn’t do it because his weight was holding him back.

Needless to say, Raymond found it depressing.

He was also having a difficult time at work. After 19 years working for an employer who made false promises, he picked up and moved from Beaver Falls to Ligonier. Hired into a hostile situation, he remained there for some time but when he was short-changed for all of his hard work, he realized he wanted to turn the tables. His son also worked at the same place and grew up with Raymond’s bad eating habits.

“I wanted to show him that you can change your life with hard work and discipline,” he says.

“I looked down and saw my huge stomach and wanted it gone. I knew nothing about fitness, health or supplements and was never a member at a gym.”

The Beginning of The Rest Of His Life

Raymond says he did his own ‘therapy’ on YouTube and found inspiration in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4KTGMXnSqU Robert ‘Brix Fitness’ Glover</a> who had lost 150lbs and changed his life for the better.

“He made me realize that I could do it too…he was my inspiration, not being afraid to tell it like it is even though it was all very difficult,” Raymond explains.

“One of his videos mentioned https://davidgoggins.com David Goggins, so of course I had to check that out too and wow!"

“In the beginning, I didn’t know what I was doing, so I was starving myself with one tiny meal a day, about 500-600 calories. Then I would fast for 44 hours at least twice a month because I wanted immediate results."

“Soon after my grandfather died, I decided to join a gym. I showed up 7 days a week to use the treadmill at an incline, but I hurt myself holding onto the rails. It took months for the shoulder and neck pain to go away, but eventually my new workout routine was one hour on the treadmill at a 15% incline (not holding the rails) and I upped my game with weights. I was doing things I didn’t know were possible."

“I started to educate myself on nutrition and used an app called LifeSum so I could track food…I learned about calorie deficit. I stopped listening to people who knew nothing about weight loss or nutrition or exercise…I did all the right things, eating healthy with whole grains, vegetables, and then I discovered protein shakes as well as Performance Inspired supplements, a company owned by Mark Wahlberg and Tom Dowd.”

Raymond is now an ambassador for Performance Inspired nutrition, and his social media videos have been viewed by thousands. He says he is a ‘walking billboard’! He also started running 5k races, and recently did five of them over the course of a month and a half.

“When Tom Dowd likes my pre/post-race video or story, it fires me up!” he says.

“I improved my time on every race and placed 1st or 2nd in a few for my age group – with a 7.23 pace, that’s not bad for a 50-year-old former fat guy!”

Raymond also became a certified personal trainer and got his first job as a trainer/coach at Anytime Fitness in Belle Vernon Pennsylvania (USA) and that’s where he was introduced to the Evolt 360 body composition analyzer.
